Miner Nirvana 10.1

Gus Givens here, and we bring you news that all hell is breaking out in stations and port docks across the Galaxy. It seems the guys over at Scan-Lock (the boffin’s responsible for scanner updates) have released their annual update to all asteroid scanners galaxy wide.

These updates are pushed through on a proprietary channel and this one is a doozy. It appears that the scanner resolution has been updated by a large factor allowing scanners to now locate ores that they were previously unaware of.

Captains have been coming back with holds full of new resources and rushing out to go see what else they can find. Even the lowest of the low captain with a scrappy Marauder and a Mining laser MK1 are finding new and exciting resources.

Currently as Asteroid Scanners and the widely used Data scanners are on different software versions, so these new resources seem to be very much ‘go look and see what you can find’. The developers over at Scan-Lock are looking to see if the new software updates can be applied or if this will require a rethink in the line of Data Scanners.

Either way, the docks and ports around the Galaxy suddenly became a hive of activity.

On to other new….
